New Ornament

Jace made this ornament in nursery on sunday. It is the first ornament he has made. I know it doesn't look to special to everyones else but I think it is a treasure for sure. I helped him put it on the tree yesterday. I can't believe he is getting so big. He is so excited for Christmas. He knows that Santa is going to bring him presents. I can't wait for Christmas to come for him.

Sugar Cookies

Monday we went to my mom's house to decorate sugar cookies. Every year she has us all over for dinner and to decorate christmas cookies. She buys all sorts of candy and makes a bunch of different christmas shaped cookies. This year Jace really go into it. He loved being able to do his own thing. Since I don't like sugar cookies. My mom always leaves my some dough to eat. Yum Yum. Daniel was a little bit of a party pooper and didn't decorate any cookies. He did eat some after they were all done though. (Not any Jace decorated they had a little too much candy on them.)

This is one of his finished cookies. (There is a gingerbread man under all the candy.)

Here is my lovely Christmas tree.

No Thank You

(This picture has nothing to do with the post. I just think it is so cute. He woke up with such rosy red cheeks and had to wear his santa hat. I just had to snap the picture,)

Jace lately has started say No Thank-You all the time. The other day Daniel asked him to come get in the tub. His reply was no thank-you. Now whenever he is asked to do something he doesn't want to that is his reply. It is so hard to make him do stuff when he has such a polite refusal along with a killer smile.

Sleep Over

Jace had Jaxon sleepover on his birthday. He got to sleep in his new sleeping bag he got from Grandma Jackie for his birthday. They were so cute together. They tried so hard to get me to let them watch a movie at 10:00. I told them no and to go to bed. I went to check on them a few minutes later and they were both asleep. Jaxon had fallen asleep with arm across Jace like he had been patting his back telling him it would be okay. I so wanted to take a picture but was afraid to wake them. The next moring when I checked on them Jace was asleep on top of his sleeping bag upside down and Jaxon was still asleep in his bag but under my coffee table. They are so cute together and are such good buds.

Isn't he getting so big and cuter every day.

Visiting Santa

Writing his letter

Last Friday Santa came to Lewiston. I had seen that he was coming and was going to take Jace then forgot all about it. So I was just getting Jace and Gracee(my niece I was babystiting) ready to go out to dinner when I heard the fire engine go by with its sirens on. I then remembered that Santa was here and he had rode in on the fire engine. I hurried and got Jace and Gracee over to see him. They had letters there for them to fill out. So I helped Jace write his letter and then we waited in a not to long of line. I was very impressed with Jace. He went right up and sat on his

lap and told him he wanted a bike. That is the only thing he has said he wants for christmas for the past three months. Grandma Jackie and Grandpa Curtis better come thru with it or we are going to have a sad litle boy on christmas.

Waiting in line

Gracee not so impressed with Santa.

Isn't that a cute smile for Santa. If only Santa would have been looking.

Jumping on the couch

Grandma Jackie's it the place that the grandkids want to be for fun. When we tell her she is softie and gives into easy her reply is "Would you want a mean grandma?" She lets all the grandkids take the cushions off her couch and jump off the couch onto the pile on the floor. These are pictures of them doing this last Sunday.

CUTE COWBOY

Casey gave Jace a cowboy hat for his birthday. Jace loves it. He wears it everywhere. He will wake up and say Cowboy Cowboy till I get the hat for him. He walks around the house with it on and his guns shooting bears, birds and all sorts of things I never knew we had in our house.
With the cow Dallin sent him. (Dallin is such a great uncle to send him a present.)

Birthday Week

Jace's birthday was on Saturday. We started celebrating the sunday before last. He had a birthday lunch party for him at Kent and Robyn's house. He loved getting sung to and blowing out candles. So much that we did it twice. The he had present to open. We made the mistake of opening a toy first. The next present was clothes. He was not impressed and kept looking in the bag saying TOY TOY.

Then he got to have a dinner birthday party at my mom and dad's. He got to share a party with Casey and Dustin. So he had there help blowing out the candles along with all og his cousins. He also got sung to and got to blow out the candles twice. Then he got to open lots of great presents.

He then got a present from Paul and Ashley on wednesday.

On Friday night we went out to dinner for his birthday to Cafe Sabor. Paul and Ashley came along with Travis, Lucinda, Dylan, and Jake. I got him a spincah artichoke appetizer that he loves. Then he got to have his favorite dinner chicken and fries. The we had them sing to him for his birthday. He thought it was great. They gave him fried ice cream and sombrero to wear.

Then on his actual birthday. He got to open the presents from me and Daniel. Then he got a present in the mail from Dallin and a card from Grandma Birch. Then Roy, Melissa, and Benson came over for dinner. He then got a candle in his piece of cake. He also got to have Jaxon sleep over. He truly had a great birthday week. I am amazed that he is two already. I am so glad that he is in our family. I can't imagine my life without him in it.

Cute Picture

So I just wanted to post this cute picture I stole off Mandy's blog. It is of me, Brylee, and Gracee riding the car at my moms on Thanksgiving.
