Good morning

This morning I awoke to the sweet sound of Ashlyn happily jabbering away in her cradle. What a great way to wake up and it sure started the day off with a smile on my face. I am so thankful for all the smiles she has given me in the last four months.

Jace makes me smile again

This is the conversation Jace just had with Ashlyn. "Ashlyn did you remember Dallin is coming home today? We are going to the airport to get him. He is going to come on a airplane. Because he is done with his mission. Are you excited? We are going to ride with Ashley and Paul in thier Jeep. I love Jeeps. One day when I was younger I had a Jeep. I drove it to a town that had suckers. I went in the building and said is anyone here and then I went bowling. I was bowling and then I was done." I was just sitting there trying not to laugh. As you can tell by the end of the story he is into making up things lately. I love it when he uses the phrase WHEN I WAS YOUNGER. Hope this story makes you smile today to.

Ashlyn 4 months

Wow time has flown by. I can't believe my newborn is now four months old. I think she is getting big and then I go out and everyone will look at her and say she is so small. She is now in 3-6 month clothes. Ashlyn is usually a very happy baby. She loves it when you talk to her and usually will show off her dimples and smile when you do. She has very much found her hands and it seems like they are always moving. She has started putting everything in her mouth whether its her hands or her toys(usually her favorite little lamb). She is getting quite strong and stands with you just holding her hands. She is getting so if I lay her down on my lap she will tighten up so she is half sitting up. She still loves the tub and is starting to splash more. Her hair is starting to come in and much to Jace's distress my sister Kenzie loves to style it in a mohawk. Weight 12 lbs 7 ounces 22 percentile Height 23 1/2 inches 21 percentile Head 42.6 87 percentile (A big head just like her brother). She still loves to jabber and fills our house with her happy noise. Jace loves being a big brother and is usually quite good at it. He loves to wake her up for me by cock a doodle doing for her. He is always telling her she is so cute and now loves to get in the tub with her.

Grandma there is a bear

So I have to share this story that gave me a good laugh. Jace stayed with Kent and Robyn while we went to Wendover for the night. He had to sleep on the floor of their room. In the middle of the night. He wakes up Robyn and say "Grandma there is a bear in here." So she has to explain to him it isn't a bear it is just Grandpa snoring.

Three months old

Today Ashlyn is three months old. How time has flown. She is getting quite the personality. I love to hear her jabber all day long. She has also figured out how to wimper when Jace starts to bug her so I will come and save her. She is getting more and more fat rolls. The newest being the ones behind her knees. They are adorable. She loves the tub and has now figured out how to kick and splash in there. She still loves to be naked and a smile almost always comes across her face when you take her clothes off. Even if she is asleep. She has started to giggle at the silly things I do. Which makes my whole day. She is only getting up once at night most of the the time which makes me much happier the next moring. She is turning in to a little bit of a momma's girl. Which I can't say I blame her. She is a little ray of sunshine that has made our days so much happier in the last three months.

Blessing Day

Ashlyn got blessed on Sunday. It was a great day. We were lucky enough to have most of our friends and family with us for the occasion. She looked so beautiful and Daniel did a great blessing. Jace also had a wonderful first day of sunbeams. (I can hardly believe he is old enough to be out of nursery.
