Fall

Fall is definately here. We went from 80 degrees yesterday to rain and 40 degrees today. There is even a little dusting of snow on the mountains. I am not complaining. I love fall. I love wearing sweaters, the fall colors, pumpkins, apples, Halloween, and cooler temperatures. Hope you all have a wonderful fall.

State Fair

In front of the butter cow.

Two saturdays ago I took Jace to the state fair. We got lucky since Kent is on the fair board and got free ride passes and great parking. We split the day up and went to see the animals in the morning and then went on the rides in the afternoon. It was great to have a break in between when we went to a bridal shower. I took Jace to the little hands on the farm exhibit. He got to plant seeds, milk cows, brush sheep, drive tractors, and collect eggs. Luckily grandma came with us in the afternoon because there was one ride they wouldn't let me go on becuase I was pregnant. We had a great day at the fair. It is so fun to how much Jace enjoys simple things like going to look at the pigs. I sometimes wish I could see things thru a childrens eyes.

Carnival

Two weeks ago they had a carnival in Richmond for a little girl who has just been diagnosed with Leukemia. It was great time for Jace. They had all sorts of games for the kids like fish pond and
face painting. It was great to see all the people that came out to support the cause.

What to do

So I went to the doctor yesterday. The baby has finally turned and isn't breech anymore. Which is great except now I have to make the decision of c-section or not. With the baby being breech I wouldn't have had to make the decision. I am having a really hard time deciding what to do. The nice thing about a c-section is I know it would be on October 20th and we could go in and an hour later have a baby. If any one has any insight to help me make this decision. Please let me know.

PS..I was packing a diaper bag for the hospital and can't believe how small the newborn diapers are.

VACATIONS

(Jace loved riding in the Rhino that Mike brought and even brought me back some flowers.)
Three weekends ago we got to spend the weekend with my family in Wyoming. Me and Jace headed up friday afternoon with my parents. We spent the night camping in Star Valley. It had been along time since I have been camping and I am pretty sure it was a first for Jace. We spent the time relaxing, enjoying being outside, 4-wheeling, and sitting by the campfire.
(Kids, rocks, and water what could be better.)
I was even lucky enough to get the best spot to sleep. In the front of the horse trailer on a great air mattress. I didn't even feel sore the next day. (I guess they took pity on my 6 month pregnant body.)
(Who doesn't love doughnuts for breakfast around the campfire.)
Then saturday we headed off to our hotel it Alpine. When we got there we could only get one of our rooms because the others weren't clean yet. So we headed of to the pool. I am sure we looked like quite the bunch with a layer of dust on us from camping and all of our luggage. When we were able to get our rooms we got cleaned up (this is when Daniel showed up) and headed to Jackson for the the Bar J. This is a favorite of my family. We try to go once a year. We really enjoy the food and music. I was a little nervous how Jace would be. He ended up really liking the music and sat quite well. Then we headed home Sunday after breakfast and spending some more time at the pool that morning. (Daniel was a party pooper on the swimming but at least came and sat by the pool.)
I did feel a little bad for Daniel who had to ride his motorcylce home in the rain. He was slightly cold and wet by the time he got back to Lewiston.

VACATIONS

Two weekends ago we went to Island Park with a group of friends. This is something that we have done every year for the past few. We go and stay at Melissa's step grandpa's cabin. We are so glad he lets us use it every year. We went up thursday night. We stopped for dinner at Texas Roadhouse one of our favorites. Then friday it was craft day for the girls and golfing for the boys. Then that night is was of to a dinner show at Mack's Inn. This was the first year we have gone here and I will have to say that it was great. Certainly a night full of laughs. To end the noght we got old fashioned pictures as a group.
(I don't think Daniel is purposly shooting me in the head.)
The next day everyone headed out 4-wheeling except us. (I had decided that a 4-wheeler ride didnt' sound so fun to me so me and Daniel headed down to Rexburg to visit Dustin and Shelli instead.) Late when they were gone for about 6 hours I was really glad Ihadn't gone. Then it was a hot dog roast. Sunday was time to clean up and go home. It was a fun filled weekend with friends with lots of relaxation and laughs. It is always nice to have a weekend away. It always makes me appreciate Jace so much more when I come home.
