Watering

I am always amazed at the things that Jace loves. Right now he loves to water with the hose. Last night Daniel turned on the hose to water the apple trees. Jace was over there in an instant and was entertained until we made him leave. He could care less how wet or muddy he gets he just loves to help water. I am sure Daniel is hoping that he will still love to water after he has had to move a few wheel lines when he gets older.

Hanging with Cooper

Jace and Cooper

Monday we got to have Cooper (Daniel's cousin Ashley's boy) come play for a little while at our house. He is only one week older than Jace. They had so much fun playing tractors and taking out all the toys. They both looked so cute in the cowboy hats from Big J's. It is fun to have a little boy for Jace to play with since so many of his cousins are girls. On Sunday we went to visit Grandma Marva with Cooper and Shara. They loved playing in her closet together and looking out the windows for Chip.

Both calling for Chip out the window.

How Crazy am I?

Last night I had a house full of cute children. Conveniently Daniel was doing field work till eleven o'clock. Haylee and Gracee were sleeping over while there parents were out of town. So I decided to have Hanna and Kenzie over for a girls night (and so Haylee wouldn't cry for her mom.) When Brian dropped them off Jaxon was in the car with some seriously sad eyes. So I let him stay and ruin our girls night, since Jace was already there. Mandy called me later and asked me if I was insane? Well maybe a little bit. But I really love my nieces and nephew and am usually up for having some of them sleepover. Usually only a few at a time. They were all very good. Next time maybe we will have Kenna and Brylee over too. Though only if Kenzie is there to help.

Celebrate

Today I found out I passed my RN boards. I am so excited. I am now a real RN. I don't have to worry about any more tests or school. I also will be getting a raise. Hurray. It feels so good to be done with everything. I am so glad that I did it. I want to say thanks to my family and friends who helped me along the way. Especially those who babysat Jace for me. I couldn't have done it without you.

Vistiting Dustin and Shelli

Playing on the paddleboat.

Jace, Me, Jamie, Hudson, and Shelli

On Wednesday Daniel had to take a cow to Rexburg. Me and Jace rode along. We went to visit our freinds Dustin and Shelli while we were there. They have a nice house with a little lake behind it. When we went out there Jace wanted to go right in. I started out just taking his shoes off. I could soon tell that wasn't going to be enough. So we stripped him down to his diaper. He enjoyed the water and the paddle boat ride we went on. He also got a real treat while we were there he had his first ice cream cone.( I know I have been a boring mom to only give him ice cream in a bowl and not on a cone.) We had a wonderful time. We are glad that Dustin and Shelli let us stop in any time and usually cook us a wonderful dinner. Kennedy and Hudson are such cute kids and always play great with Jace.

Can you tell he loves ice cream. It runs in the family.

Weekend in Eden

What a beautiful view.

Jake, Dylan, Jace and Daniel

We had a wonderful weekend. We had the opportunity to go stay in a condo in Eden, just above Powder Mountain. We left saturday after I got off work. Travis and Lucinda and their boys went with us. We were surprised how far up it was it seemed like we kept driving and driving. The drive was well worth the beautiful view. We could see Cache Valley, Ogden, and the Weber Valley. It was avery relaxing time, eating, hanging out, going for walks, driving around, and just enjoying each others company. Jace enjoyed have Dylan and Jake to play with. Rex and Jamie came up to eat dinner with us Sunday night and have cake and ice cream for Daniel's birthday. We then went swimming. the pools were perfect for the kids. We packed up and came home on Monday morning and stopped for a gourmet breakfast and McDonald's in Brigham . We had a great weekend. Thanks Robyn for letting us use the condo.

Happy Birthday Daniel

Yesterday was Daniel's birthday. He is now 27. I am always glad when his birthday comes around because then we are the same age again and he can quit telling me I am an old woman. We had a great birthday cake while on our vacation. Daniel even cooked it himself in the dutchoven. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful husband. He is trully amazing in all the things that he can do. He is a great cook, a hard worker, a wonderful husband, excellant father, and can fix so many things. He is always willing to pitch in to help anyone. I trully learned how much he does for me when I was in nursing school. He always was willing to cook dinner, watch Jace, clean the house, or anything I needed him to do. Jace adores his Dad. We are both so blessed to have him in our lives. We Love You Daniel.

Happy Birthday Kenna

Yesterday was my neice Kenna's first birthday. Sorry I am late. She will be having her party tommorrow. Unfortunately we will miss. So I just wanted to tell all of you what a cutie she is. I had the opportunity of watching her a couple of mornings a week this spring while Amanda worked. She is usually very easy going and Jace likes to play with her. Though they do have issues with sharing after being together for too long. She always makes you feel so great when she reaches her arms out to you for you to hold her. She is usually smiling and has smile that lights up a room. I love you Kenna. Happy Birthday.

Swimming at the aquatic center

Last night was my mom and dad's ward swim night. They had dinner and than swimming at the Logan aquatic center. Almost everyone in my family was there. (Casey, Daniel, and Mike were the party poopers) Jace loves the pool there because it is warm and shallow enough that he can walk around by himself for so far out. I got to do down the water slide with Haylee. We had alot fun screaming together on the way down. The water on the slide was really cold. Thought the water in the pool at the bottom was even colder. It felt nice to get back into the warm water at the kiddie pool. Me and Jace both had a blast. Thanks for calling and inviting us Kenzie.

We were trying to teach Jace how to jump into the swimming pool. Jaxon thought he would help him out by giving him a little push. Luckily Dustin was there to catch him.

Leading Puppy

Today Daniel and Jace got Puppy out and put the halter on her for the first time. She wasn't to sure of it and was a little stubborn about being led. Daniel said she did great. I wasnt' so sure. I guess I will trust him since he has done this a few more times than me. Jace is planning on showing Puppy at the fair at the first of August. She will need to be a little better by than for Jace to lead her. I'm sure she will be with some work from Daniel. One thing for sure is she will be the only Puppy at the cow show.

What some cute farm boys.

Swimming with the neighbor boys

Monday me and Jace were lucky enough to get invited to swim with Melissa and Benson. They also had Boston and Daxton over. It was fun to see the 4 boys play in the 2 pools. Jace liked that they had warm water in them. Boston and me also got to play on the slip and slide. It has been a while since I have been on one of those. It was actually quite fun. Boston is such a cute boy. He asked me as he was looking at Jaces stomach. "What is wrong with his belly ? Can I push it in?" I guess he hasn't seen a lot of outie belly buttons. Jace's sure does stick out. Here are some pictures of the cute boys. Notice I don't post pictures of myself in a swimsuit. A little to scary for everyone to see online. Happy Fourth of July

We had a great 4th of July. Me and Daniel were in charge of the parade. It went great and we are so glad to be done with it. We will really enjoy watching it next year with Jace, since we haven't been able to do that with him yet. We heard he had fun getting lots of treats (a whole bucket full, with out us. Luckily we had Mandy to take pictures for us. That night we had fun doing sparklers, watching fireworks from our front yard, eating Daniel's yummy dessert, and enjoying the company. The 4th of July is a great time to spend with those we love. It is also a time that I realize how lucky I am to live in this wonderful country and enjoy all of the freedoms that I do. I am so grateful to be an American.

Logan fireworks

We have wonderful tradition of watching the logan fireworks on the 3rd of July at Grandma and Grandpa Clark's house. We get to have great food and see cousins we don't get to see to often. They have a great view from their backyard of the fireworks at the stadium. Jace was not such a big fan of the fireworks. He kept saying car car. So we left half way thru. He was so tired that he fell asleep not long after we got in the truck. WE LOVE YOU grandma and grandpa.

New Sandbox

Last Friday we went to get Jace a sandbox. We got one of the turtle ones that has the lid. To keep the neighbors cats out of it. On Wednesday Daniel brought home some sand and filled it up for Jace. He loves to play in it. We were also lucky enough to get to babysit Chloe for a little while that afternoon so they got to play together in it. Isn't she such a cute little girl.

Fun filled sunday

Daniel left for a motorcycle ride with Travis Sunday morning. So me and Jace had lots of fun together. We got to fo eat a great lunch at grandma Robyns. We then went to grandma Jackie's for a birthday party for Kenzie. We roasted hot dogs, ate cake (after it fell on the ground), played, and got dirty. Jace always loves to play with his cousins and be in the dirt. We had so much fun we barely missed Daniel.
