Fall pictures

Tuesday afternoon I decided to head up Logan Canyon and take some pictures of Jace with the fall leaves. I took Kenzie with me to help. It was a beautiful night to take pictures and we got done just as it was getting dark. The leaves weren't as pretty as I wanted them to be. Jace is such a cute boy and has a adorable smile. He just didn't want to look at me while he was smiling. Hopefully some of them will work. As we were headed out there is a spot where the water goes over the road. I wanted to get a picture of Jace walking thru it. Not such a good idea it was very slippery and he fell on his but. Thankfully we was okay and we were done taking pictures. Can you tell in these pictures he was cold by his little red nose and cheeks.

Island Park

Me and Daniel had the chance to go stay in Island Park last weekend with friends. It was great to get away for the weekend. Summer is so busy for Daniel that he needed a break and it was good to spend time with him. Jace was lucky enough to get to hang out with both of his grandmas for the weekend. I don't even think he missed us he was to busy playing. We went up Friday and went swimming. The place to look at was not much at all but we had fun. It had the hottest hot tub I have been in beside my Grandpa Clarks. Which was great to sit and relax in. Saturday the boys went golfing and the girls did a craft. Then we hung out. That night we went to West Yellowstone. Where I thought I could find Jace a sweatshirt to take home to him. Let me tell you they did not have one boy sweatshirt in his size that wasn't brown ( he already has a brown one.) You wouldn't think it would be that hard to find one but believe me I went in every store. So instead I bought Jace a toy dog on the way home in a gas station. I think he was probably happier with that then he would have been with the sweatshirt. It was great to spend time with our friend and relax. I really didn't want to come home on Sunday even though I did miss Jace.

Fair in Idaho

Labor day was a cold wet day so decided to go the fair in Blackfoot. Me, Daniel , Jace, Sarah, and Kent drove up to Idaho. When we got there the weather was perfect. It wasn't to hot just a little windy but no rain . We saw Paul and Ashley there. Jace loves to just walk around and look at all the animals. We bought him this toy tractor and trailor. He was so happy and was the envy of all the other kids who walked by. He was so glad to play in the sawdust with his new tractor and trailor. We left just as it was starting to rain. It was a great day for me and Jace to spend time with Daniel.

Jace and Haylee

Thursday morning my neice Haylee came over to play for the morning with her sister Gracee. She was doing handstands and other gymnastic stuff in my front room. Jace was watching her and decided he could try it too. He puts his head on the ground and pushes off with his feet until he does a somersault. Now if you ask him to do his trick he will say trick trick and go do one on the floor.
