So glad

So as everyone starts back to school I am so glad that I am done with school. At least for now. It is so nice not to have to worry about buying books, doing homework, and everything that goes with school. Don't get me wrong I am glad I went and just even glader that I am done.

Saturday night we went up high creek with a bunch of friends for dinner. It has been a few years since we have done this. It was great. The kids loved to throw rocks in the river. It is so nice to get outside and relax with friends. A little after nine someone said to me there are alot of cars still coming up the canyon for being this late. It got me thinking of the times in high school we would come up. Daniel would come and get me after I got off work at ten oclock and we would join everyone up at high creek. Now at ten oclock half the people had left and the rest were getting ready to leave and put our kids in bed. Our worries before used to be about how big of a fire we could get and if we get some make out time in before I had to be home. Now its making sure that Jace doesn't get to close to the river. Things sure have changed. Some things haven't like that we have great friends and I love to spend time with Daniel up the canyon.

Smile

Last night we went to Mandarin garden for some chinese. I think that this the first chinese food for Jace. Jace loved my egg drop soup. So it became his soup after I hadn't eaten even half of it. The only spoon they gave us was a huge soup spoon. So he ended up spilling more than he ate down the front of him. Oh well he was smiling the whole time. He liked my mandarin beef , but was not such a fan of Daniel's tiny spicy chicken. It was maybe a little to hot for him. Then came the fortune cookies. Which he enjoyed. Of course it was a cookie. I just have to share his fortune with you. YOUR SMILE BRINGS HAPPINESS TO OTHERS. How true is that. He has a smile and a giggle that makes my day. Here is a picture of his adorable smile. I just wanted to post a few cute pictures of Jace and Jaxon together. Jaxon is his only boy cousin. They are both such farm boys. They love tractors, dirt, and cows. When Jace was born Jaxon was so excited to have a boy cousin. He called him my boy. He said when he got bigger he was going to teach how to do all sorts of things like pop wheelies. Jaxon hasn't taught him that yet but he has taught him all sorts of other things. He tells me he is going to potty train him. I am hoping so. I am so glad that Jace has one boy cousin to play in the dirt with and do all sorts of other boy things.

Weekend in Denver

This past weekend I spent the time with my family in Denver. We left friday morning and I slept most of the way since I worked thursday night. Me and Daniel rode with Mandy and Brian. We met my parents, grandma and grandpa Clark, Topper, Dustin, Amanda, Casey, and Kenzie. We went to two rockies games. It poured rain some while we were there, though it made the temperature just right for the baseball games. We went shopping at the outlets and I got some cute clothes most of them for Jace. It was a great weekend, though we had some interesting things happen, getting stuck on the tram because lightning hit, rain delay at the baseball game, and Kenzie going to the hospital twice for stomach pain. It was great to spend time with most of my family.

Fair

Thursday the county fair started. This year Jace showed in the pre 4H class at the fair. He and Daniel have been working with Puppy to get her ready. He went down with Daniel wednesday and made sure Puppy was already and found lots of dirt and other things to play with. Thursday morning Jace was so excited to go show Puppy. I got him ready and he looked so handsome in his wranglers and boots. (Daniel informed that to show cows you don't wear cowboy hats, shiny shirts, or belt buckles.) He did great showing Puppy. He had dad to help at first and then I helped out. Jace had fun but by the end he was ready to be done. He won a blue ribbon and two dollars. Hanna and Brylee also showed calves to.

Luv you

I am in Denver on Vacation with my family and just wanted to do a quick blog to let you know that Jace can now say luv you. I have been trying to get him to say Love you for months and months. I think he knew how much I wanted it because he could say so many other things but would never say that. Yesterday on the phone Emily told him to tell me love you and he did. It was the cutest LUV YOU I have ever heard. It is moments like that make me love being a mom. I called him again this morning and he told both me and Daniel Luv you again. I love you Jace and am missing you and will see you tomorrow.

Twin Falls

Yesterday me and Jace got the opportunity to go to the Twin Falls temple open house. We went with Kent and Robyn then met Nic there. It was the first open house for both me and Jace. It is a simple but pretty temple. The first thing we went to in the temple was the baptisimal font. Jace loved the water. After we left the font he kept saying water. After we had lunch and headed home. Jace was not at all impressed with the ride home. Overall I would say he very good and we had a great time.

Rodeo

Thursday night we went to the rodeo in Preston. Jace looked so handsome in his boots and pants. We were a little late getting there and missed the rodeo queens and saddle bronc. We luckily got there in time to watch team roping which Jace liked. We also got to watch Hanna and Jaxon do mutton busting. They both did great. Hanna made it farther than Jaxon. Jaxon fell off the back of the sheep not to far out of the gate. They were very impressed with the belt buckles they won. Jaxon even told Jace next year he can ride a baby sheep and could get a belt buckle. It has been a while since I had been to the rodeo in Preston. It was great to go and spend time with my family.
